Brawl Between Foreign Tourists and Security Guards at Bali Beach Club Went Viral, Police: Under Investigation!

Bali, Indonesia Sentinel — A violent brawl broke out between four foreign nationals tourists and several security guards in front of a Beach Club in Badung, Bali, on Tuesday night, February 11, 2025. Four security guards sustained injuries, with one individuals were taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The incident occurred outside Finns Beach Club at Jalan Pantai Berawa, Banjar Berawa, Tibubeneng Village, North Kuta quickly went viral after footage of the fight spread on social media.

According to reports, the confrontation began inside Finns Beach Club when the foreign tourists caused a commotions, prompting security to intervene. WAJ, a security guard at the venue, stated that the individuals became increasingly aggressive when asked to leave.

“My colleagues and I escorted them out of Finns Beach Club, but once we reached the parking area, they resisted and began attacking the security team,”  said WAJ, as reported by Kompas.

One of the foreigners allegedly made an obscene gesture at the security staff as a provocation. Despite repeated warnings, the group refused to comply, leading security personnel to forcibly remove them.

Brawl Caught on Camera

However, once the tourist out of the club, the four individuals launched a violent assault to the security guard. A 26-second video of the brawl outside Bali beach club, which has since gone viral, shows three of the foreign tourists using bamboo sticks to attack security guards, while another struck from behind.

Police Investigation Underway

Badung Police spokesperson Ipda Putu Sukarma confirmed the incident, stating that four security guards suffered injuries.

  • KBYD sustained a broken lower tooth, a bleeding nose, and a head laceration and is currently being treated at Hydro Medical Bali Clinic.
  • GDW suffered swelling behind his left ear and abrasions on his left cheek.
  • LR had a bite wound on his left hand and abrasions on his right elbow.
  • GNAS sustained bruising on his right cheek.

Authorities are now investigating the case. “We are still searching for the foreign nationals involved. Their identities have been identified, and we are currently tracking them down,” Sukarma said on Wednesday (February 12, 2025), as reported by Kompas.

One of the suspects is believed to have the initials LD, while the identities of the others are still under investigation. As of now, North Kuta Police continue to probe the incident to ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
