Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has received a Turkish-made electric car as a gift from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The gift was presented during Erdogan’s state visit to Bogor Palace, West Java, on Wednesday (February 12, 2025).
Erdogan presented Prabowo with a TOGG T10X, an electric car produced by Türkiye’nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu (TOGG), Turkey’s national automotive company.
According to reports from Antara, Erdogan symbolically handed over the electric car ahead of a state luncheon. The vehicle, gifted in celebration of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Turkey, underscores the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
Prabowo welcomed the white electric car from the Turkish government and personally tested it by sitting behind the wheel.
Erdogan previously gifted a TOGG electric vehicle to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim during his visit to Malaysia on Tuesday (February 11, 2025).
TOGG T10X Spesifications
TOGG is Turkey’s national automotive company founded in 2018. According to Detikoto, the T10X, was its first electric model which began production in 2022.
The T10X is available in two variants: a rear-wheel drive (RWD) and an all-wheel drive (AWD). The RWD version is powered by a single electric motor producing 218 PS and 350 Nm of torque, while the AWD version features dual motors generating a combined 435 PS and 700 Nm of torque.
According to TOGG, the vehicle supports fast-charging technology, allowing it to charge from 20% to 80% in just 28 minutes using a 180 kW DC fast charger. The car boasts a range of up to 523 km on a single charge and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.
This zero-emission vehicle also integrates advanced smart technology connected to TOGG’s mobility ecosystem.

Manufacturing and Pricing
The TOGG T10X is manufactured at the company’s facility in Gemlik, with approximately 75% of its components sourced from local suppliers and the remaining 25% from European and Asian markets.
In Turkey, the T10X electric car is available in three variants, with prices starting at 1,440,000 Turkish lira (approximately $42,000) for the base model. The top-tier variant is priced at 1,830,000 lira (about $53,500).
Erdogan’s gesture not only highlights Turkey’s growing automotive industry but also strengthens economic and diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Turkey.
