“Indonesia will bring the voice of the global south, which basically means that developing countries must be heard, not just developed countries and big countries. So developing countries must be heard in the forum. That is our wish,” he explained.

In this regard, the President said that several points resulting from the 42nd ASEAN Summit which took place in Labuan Bajo will also be brought by President Jokowi.

“Regarding Myanmar, for example,” he added.

In addition to attending the G7 Summit, President Jokowi is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with a number of state leaders. The President will also meet with several large Japanese businessmen in a business forum format.
