Jakarta, IndonesiaSentinel.com — Apple recently unveiled the Apple Watch Series 10, marking a significant upgrade in its smartwatch lineup. This latest model features the largest display and the thinnest body in the history of Apple Watches.
The standout innovation of the Apple Watch Series 10 is its display. It boasts a screen that is 30% larger than its predecessors, with a refresh rate increased to every second. This allows for a smooth movement of the second hand on the Always On Display. Additionally, the screen’s brightness has been boosted by 40%, making it easier to read from various angles.
The Series 10 is Apple’s slimmest smartwatch to date, measuring just 9.7mm in thickness. Despite its sleek profile, the battery life remains impressive, with the watch lasting up to 18 hours on a single charge. Charging has also been accelerated, reaching 80% in just 30 minutes.
For the first time, Apple offers a titanium option for the Apple Watch, which is 20% lighter than the traditional stainless steel used in previous models. The titanium variant comes in three colors: natural, gold, and slate. The aluminum version is available in rose gold, silver, and jet black.
The Series 10 introduces notable improvements in health monitoring. It now includes sleep apnea detection, enhancing its ability to track and manage sleep health.
Additionally, it is water-resistant up to 50 meters, making it suitable for snorkeling.

The new model also features a redesigned speaker that is 30% smaller but still powerful, allowing users to listen to music and podcasts directly from the watch without needing headphones.
Under the hood, the Series 10 is powered by the new S10 chipset, offering a boost in performance. The Apple Watch Series 10 will be available starting September 20, 2024, in the United States.
