Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) has achieved international recognition by making the “World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2024” list published by Newsweek, a prominent global magazine based in New York. This accolade underscores BRI’s commitment to maintaining trust and integrity as a leading financial institution worldwide.
The list, compiled by Newsweek and Statista, evaluates global companies based on customer, employee, and investor trust in the quality of their products and services, fair employee compensation, and strong leadership.
In its second year, the ranking assessed 1,000 companies across 20 countries and 23 industries, based on a survey of 70,000 participants and 230,000 evaluations from customers, investors, and employees.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the most trustworthy companies in the world. This achievement reflects the hard work of all BRILiaN employees who are committed to providing the best service while prioritizing transparency and integrity in all operational activities,” stated BRI’s President Director, Sunarso, in an official company release on September 22, 2024.
Sunarso added that this recognition motivates BRI to continue building a stronger and more trustworthy banking ecosystem, both in Indonesia and globally.
