Previously, Brigit Biofarmaka Teknologi has unveiled its latest innovation, spirulina milk, touted as a promising alternative to cow’s milk.

According to RRI, Spirulina, a microscopic blue-green algae, is a photosynthetic organism packed with 55-70% protein, along with high levels of minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. Its nutritional profile has made it a standout superfood.

Spirulina milk, Brigit Biofarmaka Teknologi’s latest innovation, boasts exceptional nutritional benefits, including high protein content, abundant calcium, and powerful antioxidants.

“Compared to cow’s milk, spirulina milk offers significant advantages, such as 22% more calcium and 20 times the amount of iron,” said Heriyanto, the company’s President Director.

The product is designed to address the nutritional needs of individuals who require high-protein intake but are intolerant to cow’s milk. It was launched alongside Neoalgae spirulina, a microalgae-based supplement aimed at reducing stunting rates among toddlers.

According to Jpnn.com, Both products have officially been patented by Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights as of December 29, 2024. Is Heriyanto, President Director of Brigit Biofarmaka Teknologi, emphasized that spirulina research has been a cornerstone of the company’s innovation efforts since 2013.
