South Sumatra – Cargill, through its palm oil business unit PT Hindoli, today started the construction of the ICU Building at Sungai Lilin General Hospital, Musi Banyuasin.
The ICU building, which is targeted for completion in December 2023, will be able to provide proper health services to people in 26 villages in Sungai Lilin sub-district.
With the improvement of service standards and facilities at RSUD Sungai Lilin, it is hoped that the surrounding community will be able to access and obtain proper health services without having to go to the city center which is 150 km away.
This project demonstrates Cargill’s commitment to support the local government in providing equitable access to good quality health services to the community. This is in line with Cargill’s values of putting people first and doing the right thing.
