Jakarta – Head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) News Section, Ali Fikri, revealed that the KPK investigating team examined six witnesses in the gratification of customs officials with the suspect former Head of Makassar Customs and Excise Office Andhi Pramono (AP).
“The five witnesses examined were Janis Theofilus Puluh (self-employed), Radiman (self-employed), Rony Faslah (private employee), Andy (self-employed), and Hasyim (self-employed). The five witnesses were confirmed about the witness’s knowledge regarding the suspect’s financial transaction activities, “Ali said, in his statement to InfoPublik, Friday (9/6/2023).
Ali continued, one more witness on behalf of Kamariah (housewife). “The witness was confirmed regarding his knowledge of the suspect’s financial transactions using the witness account in question,” he said.
Ali also explained that the six witnesses were examined at the Barelang Police Station, Batam City, Riau Islands.
Previously, the KPK searched the luxury house of former Makassar Customs and Excise Office Head Andhi Pramono (AP) located in Batam. AP is a suspect in an alleged gratification case.
“On Tuesday (6/6/2023) the KPK investigating team carried out search actions in the Batam City area in the context of collecting evidence. The location in question is the house of AP, who is suspected of being a suspect in this case,” he explained.
Ali continued, the AP house in question is located in one of the luxury housing complexes in the Sekupang area of Batam. “The activity is currently underway and we will convey the update soon,” he explained.
