Tangerang – The Directorate of Drug Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the National Police conducted a reconstruction related to the production of ecstasy in two factories located in the Tangerang and Semarang areas. This reconstruction involved five suspects who had been named in the case.
Deputy Director of Drug Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Kombes Pol Jayadi, explained that the reconstruction was carried out both in Semarang and Tangerang. The purpose of this reconstruction is to clarify differences in information that arose during the examination of the suspects.
“During the examination of the suspects, there were differences in information. Therefore, today we will carry out reconstruction in order to obtain a more complete picture,” explained Kombes Pol Jayadi in a press conference on Monday (12/6/2023).
According to him, in the reconstruction at the Tangerang crime scene there were 86 scenes that would be recorded and reconstructed. As for the Semarang crime scene, there are 36 scenes that will be considered in the reconstruction process.
“It should be noted that the number of scenes can grow along with the development of the investigation,” he added.
This reconstruction is expected to provide a clearer picture of the ecstasy production process carried out in these factories. Bareskrim Polri continues to make maximum efforts in uncovering drug production networks to deal with problems that are very detrimental to society and threaten the younger generation.
