Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel – PT Petrokimia Gresik displayed four digital innovations at Hannover Messe (HM) 2003, namely Human Capital Development (HCDev), Petrokimia Gresik Port Infromation System (Petroport), System Scheduling Truck Online (SISTRO) and Petro Balancing, after passing the curation stage.
“It is proof that our digitalization is not only able to provide added value for Petrokimia Gresik in carrying out its business operations. On that occasion, Petrokimia Gresik’s innovation has received appreciation at the international level,” said President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Dwi Satriyo, in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/5/2023).
Dwi Satriyo Annurogo explained, Human Capital Development (HCDev) is a digital administration platform that is integrated with Petrokimia Gresik’s existing digital learning platforms, namely Enterprise University (EU), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and 360 Plant Facility Learning.
While VR Learning is an interactive training innovation that utilizes virtual reality technology.
VR Learning was developed as one of the training facilities for Petrokimia Gresik’s new employees undergoing OJT (On Job Training), which consists of 18 machines in the NPK Plant with 187 maintenance work scenarios in the NPK Plant.
“In this way, it is hoped that participants (interactive training) can understand the material well because they feel they are in a real situation,” said Dwi Satriyo.
The second platform, Petroport, is a web-based system and mobile application that functions as a supervisor, recording, reporting and determining decision recommendations digitally and automatically.
This system is considered capable of improving the performance of loading and unloading at the port of the State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) company and providing accurate and real-time data to all stakeholders.
“Thanks to this tool, logistics costs can be saved and loading and unloading performance at the port can be optimized,” Dwi Satriyo added.
The third platform, SISTRO, is an online truck scheduling system (web-based application) to synchronize truck arrival, loading capability, and factory production capacity.
This system replaces the manual process of ordering trucks to partners for distribution to the Java-Bali buffer warehouse.
“We used to send POs (purchase orders) via email and then follow up by phone. With SITRO, everything is faster and more organized,” he said.
Meanwhile, the fourth platform, Petro Balancing, is useful to facilitate and shorten the process of balancing factory equipment that is still rotating. With the Petro Balancing application, the balancing process is carried out more quickly and precisely than manually with graph paper.
“These four innovations are clear evidence of Petrokimia Gresik’s commitment to digitalization for optimal results,” Dwi Satriyo concluded. (InfoPublik)
