The Presidential Inauguration ceremony will take place at 10:00 AM local time at the Nusantara Building, located within the Parliament Complex in Jakarta. This iconic building has been the site for every presidential inauguration since Indonesia’s first president, Soekarno, took office.

One of the ways to watch the 2024 presidential inauguration is through large screens set up at various “People’s Festival” stages around Jakarta. These locations will feature big screens broadcasting the ceremony live, offering citizens the chance to gather and watch together.
The Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub DKI Jakarta), through its Instagram account @dishubdkijakarta, announced 13 “People’s Festival” stage locations along the inauguration route for Sunday, October 20, 2024. The designated spots include:

- Stage 2: Kalimantan Stage – In front of Mid Plaza
- Stage 3: Sulawesi Stage – In front of BNI Tower
- Stage 4: Nusantara Stage – In front of Plaza Indonesia (HI)
- Stage 5: Java Stage – In front of Sarinah Building
- Stage 6: Papua Stage – Patung Kuda Roundabout
- Stage 7: Red and White Stage – Taman Pandang, Merdeka Palace
- Stage 8: People’s Stage – In front of Mandarin Oriental Hotel

To avoid traffic congestion, residents are advised not to use personal vehicles when heading to the People’s Festival stages.
