Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — A mysterious messages reading “HELP” and “TRAFICO” seen in satellite imagery from Google Maps has stirred social media. The mysterious messages near the Union Pacific rail yard in Los Angeles raising concerns about potential human trafficking activity.

According to The Independent, the words were discovered in a vacant area near the San Bernardino Freeway, written in large letters among scattered debris. The unsettling sight of the mysterious messages has fueled speculation, with many fearing it could be an urgent plea for help linked to human trafficking which is a growing issue in Los Angeles.

Social Media Speculation

Online users have speculated the meaning behind the mysterious messages appear in Los Angeles, according to report from Tirto. “Help” is a universal distress call, while “Trafico” translates to “traffic” in Spanish. Authorities Dismiss Human Trafficking Concerns

Authorities quickly addressed the rumors, confirming that the markings posed no immediate danger. “Photos circulating on Google Maps that show the word ‘HELP’ on Union Pacific property were created about a year ago—no one was or is in danger,” a Union Pacific Police Department spokesperson states, as reported by The Independent.

The spokesperson further explained that a man had repeatedly trespassed on Union Pacific and nearby properties to create misleading messages. “We do know the individual responsible also does this on neighboring properties as well” they said. “We want to remind the public that it is illegal—and more importantly, unsafe—to trespass on Union Pacific property.”

Content Creator Investigates

Members of FaZe Clan, a well-known content creator group, decided to investigate the site. They documented the “HELP” sign, which was made from large pipes, and discovered similar markings scattered throughout the area.

While speaking with locals, they were told that a man named Jose, a well-known figure in the community, was responsible for the signs. Union Pacific, however, has firmly stated that these markings are not linked to any criminal activity.

Their investigation took a more mysterious turn when they spotted a drone hovering over the area, adding to the intrigue. FaZe Clan’s findings have since gone viral, amassing millions of views on social media.
