Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — Indonesia nickel mining company PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT) announced extraordinary financial and operational results for 2024. The company’s net profit soared by 1,389% year-on-year, marking significant increase compared to 2023.
“The company achieved significant growth across all business lines, reflecting the effectiveness of our strategies and strong operational performance,” said Feni Silviani Budiman, Central Omega’s Director, in an official statement released Tuesday, April 8.
The company has released its financial and operational report covers the period ending September 30, 2024. According to the company, revenue rose by 80% compared to the previous year, fueled by a combination of increased sales volume and improved commodity prices.
Production operations also saw a dramatic boost, with output up 130% year-on-year, signaling expanded capacity and greater efficiency across mining sites.
Citing data from Kontan.id, the company’s nickel ore production in Q4 2024 reached 1.20 million wet metric tons (wmt), a 112.26% jump from the 568,070 wmt recorded during the same period in 2023. For the full year, total output climbed to 2.95 million wmt, up 130.46% from the previous year.
Sales figures closely followed production trends. The company sold 2.59 million wmt of nickel ore in 2024, an increase of 105.55% year-on-year, compared to 1.26 million wmt in 2023.

The spike in output and sales translated into a massive rise in earnings. The company reported a net profit of Rp 414 billion (approx. $26 million), marking a 1,329% increase over the previous year.
Gross profit also climbed 79% to Rp631 billion, while earnings per share rose 484% to Rp66.41, delivering substantial value to shareholders. Meanwhile, EBITDA grew 128% in 2024.
“This growth reflects the company’s success in maintaining and enhancing operational performance,” Budiman added.
Nickel remains one of Indonesia top-performing mining commodities, playing a critical role in the global supply chain for batteries and electric vehicles. Central Omega’s robust performance is seen as a broader indicator of the nickel sector’s strength in Indonesia amid rising international demand.
