Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated ten Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) and one Deputy Ambassador on Wednesday afternoon (October 8, 2025), in a ceremony held at the State Palace in Jakarta.
The appointments were formalized under Presidential Decree No. 112P/2025 on the Appointment of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia and Presidential Decree No. 113P/2025 on the Assignment of Deputy Ambassadors.
President Prabowo personally led the oath-taking ceremony, which was attended by all 11 newly appointed envoys.
“By Almighty God, I swear that in serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, or as Deputy Ambassador, I will remain faithful to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, abide by all laws and regulations, uphold the ethics of my office, and carry out my duties with the utmost responsibility for the sake of my service to the nation and the state,” Prabowo declared as he led the oath, followed by the ambassadors.
After the oath, each ambassador signed their official appointment documents. The new Indonesian envoys will represent the country in 11 foreign postings, including neighboring and strategic nations such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, as well as Egypt, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Syria, Nepal, Belgium, the Netherlands, and China.

- Raden Dato Mohammad Iman Hascarya Kusumo – Ambassador to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)
- Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan – Ambassador to Singapore
- Adam Mulawarman Tugio – Ambassador to Vietnam (Hanoi)
- Kuncoro Giri Waseso – Ambassador to Egypt (Cairo)
- Syahda Guruh Langkah Samudera – Ambassador to Qatar (Doha)
- Berlian Helmy – Ambassador to Azerbaijan (Baku)
- Lukman Hakim Siregar – Ambassador to Syria (Damascus)
- Listyowati – Ambassador to Nepal (Dhaka)
- Andi Rachmianto – Ambassador to Belgium (Brussels)
- Laurentius Amrih Jinangkung – Ambassador to the Netherlands (The Hague)
Deputy Ambassador:
- Irene – Deputy Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China (Beijing)
The new appointments are part of Prabowo’s broader diplomatic agenda aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s international presence and deepening bilateral relations with key partner nations.
