PT CMS Reaffirms Openness to Dialogue with Local Communities in Central Sulawesi

Central Sulawesi, Indonesia Sentinel – PT. Cahaya Murni Sejahtera (CMS) said it remains open and committed to dialogue with residents in Tiu, Tontowea, and Ulula villages in West Petasia District, North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi.

That commitment reflects that the company’s welcomes communities aspirations and aims to maintain good communication and relations.

“We are very open and ready to listen directly to residents who want to share their aspirations,” said Adrian Wisnuputro, CMS’s Operations General Manager, on Thursday (September 18, 2025).

Adrian urged residents not to be swayed by hoaxes or negative information spread by irresponsible parties seeking to disrupt stability.

CMS also regrets the spread of hoax information that provokes communities and has the potential to disrupt the company’s operation.

Under Indonesia’s Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) and Article 390 of the Criminal Code, individuals spreading hoaxes to deceive the public for personal gain may face up to two years in prison.

In addition to engaging with residents, PT CMS said it regularly coordinates with local officials, including village heads, Bhabinkamtimbas, and Babinsa.

“We hoped journalists to be cautious when dealing with unverified information” Adrian said.

He added that CMS’s activities contribute significantly to the local community by driving economic growth, boosting regional revenue, and supporting community empowerment programs.

Therefore, CMS hopes that the community will provide support so that CMS activities can bring prosperity to the surrounding community.

“We truly hope for everyone’s support so PT CMS can continue to bring meaningful benefits to local residents,” he said.
