Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — The Indonesian government has appointed Rosan Roeslani as the Group CEO of the newly established Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Authority (Danantara), with Pandu Sjahrir and Dony Oskaria serving as key executives.
“Danantara will be led by Mr. Rosan Roeslani, assisted by Mr. Pandu Sjahrir and Mr. Dony Oskaria,” said Hasan Nasbi, Head of the Presidential Communications Office, during a press briefing at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday (February 25, 2025).
Danantara, Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund (SWF), will oversee two major holdings: an operational division led by Dony Oskaria, who also serves as Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and an investment division headed by Pandu Sjahrir.

Rosan Roeslani
Roeslani is a trusted confidant of President Prabowo Subianto and played a pivotal role as chairman of the National Campaign Team for the Prabowo-Gibran coalition in the 2024 presidential election.
He is also one of Indonesia’s wealthiest individuals. According to Indonesia’s State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN), his net worth reached Rp860.71 billion ($54 million) by the end of 2023. In 2021, Forbes ranked him 87th among Indonesia’s richest people, with total assets of $450 million.
Roeslani previously served as Deputy Minister I of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and was appointed Vice President Commissioner of Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company, by Minister Erick Thohir.
Pandu Sjahrir
Pandu Sjahrir, was the nephew of National Economic Council Chairman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan He currently serves as Vice President Director of PT Toba Bara Sejahtera Tbk (TOBA), an Indonesian coal company.
He is a former commissioner at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and previously held key positions at major corporations, including President Commissioner of SEA Group Indonesia (owner of Shopee and Garena).
His extensive corporate experience includes roles as Chairman of the Indonesian Fintech Association (since 2021) and commissioner at several companies, such as PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi (since 2020), PT Karya Baru TBS (since 2018), and PT Perkebunan Kaltim Utama I (since 2018).
Dony Oskaria
Dony Oskaria, a native of Tanah Datar, West Sumatra, currently serves as Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
He previously led InJourney, the state-owned aviation and tourism holding company, and held top executive roles across multiple industries, including Managing Director of Bank Mega (2012-2014), Commissioner of Garuda Indonesia (2014-2019), and CEO of AntaVaya (2014-2020).
Oskaria also served as President Director of Trans Studio Mall (2014-2020) and CEO of Hospitality & Entertainment at CT Corp (2018-2020), a conglomerate owned by Indonesian billionaire Chairul Tanjung.
According to the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) 2023 wealth report, Oskaria’s total assets are valued at Rp29.88 billion ($1.83 million), including real estate holdings in South Jakarta and Padang worth Rp19.81 billion ($1.2 million).
