Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — Samsung new Galaxy Ring, a highly anticipated smart ring, is officially coming to Indonesia, with pre-registration now open for early adopters. As of Monday, October 28, 2024, Samsung has launched its official pre-registration for Indonesian customers interested in the Galaxy Ring.
The announcement was made via email under the header “Ring… Ring… Something’s coming,” sent out early Monday morning. The email reads, “Our first smart ring is coming. Register and receive rewards!” and showcases the Galaxy Ring in silver, gold, and black color options, featuring Galaxy AI technology.
Pre-Registration Details
Consumers interested in purchasing the Galaxy Ring can register on Samsung’s official website from October 28 to November 10. Pre-registrants will receive an e-voucher worth approximately Rp1,000,000 ($ 64), which can be used toward the Galaxy Ring purchase once the product launches. Samsung has confirmed that these vouchers will remain valid until December 31, 2024.
While Samsung hasn’t announced an official release date, the registration period suggests that the Galaxy Ring may launch in mid-November, potentially four months after its global unveiling at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris in July. This event also debuted the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Watch 7.
Appeared on the Certification Page, Samsung Galaxy Ring May Soon Available in Indonesia
Samsung’s promotional emails did not disclose the Galaxy Ring’s price in Indonesia. However, documents outlining the terms and conditions of the pre-registration event reveal a projected retail price of Rp6,499,000 (around $420) for the Galaxy Ring in Indonesia.

The Galaxy Ring’s imminent arrival in Indonesia was hinted at earlier this month, when it appeared on the Ministry of Communication and Information’s certification listings under various model numbers.
