Bandung, IndonesiaSentinel.com — Christiano Ronaldo YouTube revealed his new venture to the world to his followers, saying, “The wait is over. My YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey,” he posted on his Instagram, creating an uproar online.
In just 90 minutes, Christiano Ronaldo’s channel, “UR Cristiano,” has already gained 1 million subscribers, a feat that no one else in the world has achieved. Cristiano Ronaldo has broken yet another record by becoming the fastest-growing channel in history on YouTube’s platform.
Just a day after launching the channel, Ronaldo received YouTube’s Golden Play Button, an award given to content creators who reach 1 million subscribers. But it’s not going to stop there, by Friday night, August 23, 2024, a little over two days after the channel was created, the subscriber count had skyrocketed 33-fold, reaching an astonishing 33.6 million.
This rapid growth means Ronaldo has likely already qualified for YouTube’s Diamond Play Button, awarded to channels surpassing 10 million subscribers. The Diamond Play Button is probably on its way to Ronaldo’s home already.
The previous record was held by Hamster Kombat, which took 7 days to reach 10 million subscribers, while Ronaldo only took 2 days.

Given the extraordinary pace of subscriber growth, it is expected to continue climbing considering Ronaldo’s massive fanbase across various social media platforms. The Portugal soccer player had 170 million followers on Facebook, 112.6 million on X (formerly Twitter), and 636 million on Instagram.
Christiano Ronaldo YouTube has started to post content on his channel, and he promises his fans to upload some behind-the-scenes footage so that fans can see the “real Cristiano Ronaldo” as well. The channel will also feature Cristiano’s wife, Georgina Rodriguez, along with his eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
In an Instagram post, Ronaldo showed himself opening the Golden Play button in front of his family. “A present for my family. Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!” posted Ronaldo on Instagram on Thursday, August 22.
He also posted the full video upon opening the golden play button on his YouTube channel. All the family seems happy and captivated by the golden play button, still not believing that it was real. The Video with 1-minute duration has already been viewed by 25 million people so far.
