Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — Taylor Swift has officially claimed the title of the world’s richest female musician, according to Forbes magazine. Taylor Swift, who has surpassed Rihanna, now holds an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion, equivalent to approximately Rp 25 trillion.

The surge in Swift wealth is largely attributed to the revenue generated from her 2023 “Eras Tour” and the value of her extensive music catalog. With her relatable lyrics, evolving musical style, and strong social media presence Taylor Swift has captivated a massive global fanbase, particularly among younger generations.

Swift’s ability to connect with fans has earned her one of the largest followings in the world, with millions of devoted listeners spanning continents. Thus leading to the success of her tour around the world.

Additionally, Swift holds about Rp 1.9 trillion in assets, including real estate properties in Rhode Island, New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles.

Swift’s rapid ascent to billionaire status in October 2023 is largely due to the massive success of her Eras Tour and her entire music catalog. The success of the tour propelled Swift to billionaire status for the first time in October of last year. Over the past year, her earnings have grown by an additional Rp 7.8 trillion.

The Eras Tour made history as the first tour to generate over a billion dollars in revenue. Swift managed to reach this monumental figure with just 60 performances over the course of eight months and is expected to earn another billion dollars from her 2024 tour dates.
