Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — A female student was found dead at the M Building of Tarumanagara University (Untar) 1 campus, located in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, on Friday night, October 4, 2024. Authorities suspect the student, identified by the initials E (18), died by suicide.
The tragic discovery was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations at Polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner Ade Ary. He explained that the student’s body was first found by two campus security guards, identified as DS and DE, who were on duty at the time.
Ary further noted that the security guards had previously noticed the student in the hallway of M Building. The guards asked the student to leave the area, but the request was declined.
