Acting head of the Bekasi Manpower Office, Nur Hidayah Setyowati, said the event drew an overwhelming response from both job seekers and employers. “The fair offered 2,557 job vacancies from 64 participating companies. Many conducted on-the-spot interviews,” she said.

Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang stated that while the fair offered just over 2,000 job openings, more than 25,000 people showed up in search of employment. “This clearly shows we need to expand capacity for future job fairs,” he said at the venue.

Kunang noted that the job fair was part of his administration’s 100-day priority program, aimed at reducing the unemployment rate across the Bekasi Regency. Bekasi Regent acknowledged the massive turnout, calling it evidence of an urgent need for job creation.

Local authorities say they remain optimistic that these strategic efforts will help curb unemployment and improve the welfare of residents in Bekasi.
