Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — A severe accident occurred on the Pemalang Toll Road at Kilometer 315 in the A lane on Thursday, October 31, 2024. The crash involved a vehicle belonging to the national television station TV One and a box truck, resulting in the tragic deaths of three people.

The TV One vehicle, with license plate B 1048 DKG, collided with an expedition truck bearing license plate AD 9287 NF. Circulating photos of the incident reveal the extensive damage sustained by the TV One vehicle.

Early reports indicate that the accident took place around 6:32 a.m. local time. Witnesses on the scene and initial police statements suggest that the crash may have been due to limited space on the road for the TV One driver to overtake. As of now, the exact cause remains under investigation by local authorities, who are working to gather details about the incident.
