Indonesia Ranks 11 Among Countries with the Most Beautiful Women in Asia, Who is Number One?

Bandung, IndonesiaSentinel.com — Insider Monkey recently release a report, ranking the top 20 countries in Asia based on their population of beautiful women. Indonesia has been listed as number 11th among the countries with the most beautiful women in Asia. South Korea was named the “beauty capital of the world,” taking the number one position on the list.

In South Korea, women from various age groups invest significantly in beauty care, reportedly spending up to IDR 11.3 million ($750) per month on skincare products and treatments. South Korean women are known for their dedication to maintaining beauty through a variety of methods, including both non-invasive treatments and plastic surgery, making the country a global leader in beauty trends.

Insider Monkey’s report ranked the countries with the most beautiful women in Asia based on a consensus-driven approach, with a perfect score being 1 (12/12=1). The rankings take into account cultural beauty standards, the prevalence of cosmetic procedures, and overall public perception of beauty within the country.

It went through multiple sources and shortlisted the countries with most beautiful women and then assigned them scores. Here are the top 20 countries featured in the report:

The Top 20 Countries with the Most Beautiful Women in Asia

  1. South Korea – Score: 1
    • South Korea is well-known for its beauty-conscious population. Many women invest in skincare products and undergo cosmetic surgery, contributing to its top ranking.
  2. Japan – Score: 0.95
    • Japan ranks second, known for its women’s natural beauty and unique beauty trends. Japanese women are admired for their soft features and elegance.
  3. Vietnam – Score: 0.9
    • Vietnam leads Southeast Asia with women known for their smooth skin and graceful demeanor. Vietnamese beauty is celebrated across the region.
  4. Philippines – Score: 0.85
    • Women in the Philippines are renowned for their unique blend of Asian and Spanish features, making them stand out in the region.
  5. Iran – Score: 0.8
    • Like South Korea, Iran is another country where cosmetic procedures are common, particularly rhinoplasty, which is very popular among women.
  6. Malaysia – Score: 0.75
    • Malaysia’s multicultural population offers a blend of Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous beauty traits, creating a diverse and unique aesthetic.
  7. India – Score: 0.7
    • India’s beauty culture combines traditional skincare rituals with modern cosmetic treatments like Botox and fillers.
  8. China – Score: 0.65
    • Chinese women are admired for their youthful appearance, with surveys linking their beauty to factors such as happiness (81%) and a positive outlook (77%).
  9. Singapore – Score: 0.6
    • Singapore’s women, like Malaysia’s, represent a mix of various ethnicities, leading to a rich diversity in beauty standards.
  10. Thailand – Score: 0.55
    • Thailand is known as one of the top countries in Asia for beautiful women, with beauty being highly regarded in its culture.
  11. Indonesia – Score: 0.5
    • Indonesia ranks 11th in the list. The country is known for its naturally beautiful women, celebrated for their unique features and diverse cultural backgrounds.
  12. Hong Kong – Score: 0.45
    • Hong Kong is home to women who prioritize facial care and cosmetic procedures, particularly among those in their 20s and 30s.
  13. Macau – Score: 0.4
    • Macau also makes the list for its population of beautiful women, recognized for their distinct appearance.
  14. Bhutan – Score: 0.35
    • Bhutanese women are often admired for their exotic and natural beauty, standing out as unique in the region.
  15. Taiwan – Score: 0.3
    • Women in Taiwan are often noted for their porcelain-like skin and petite stature, which are considered desirable traits.
  16. Kazakhstan – Score: 0.25
    • Kazakhstan is known for its women’s beauty, which combines both Asian and European features, creating a striking appearance.
  17. Sri Lanka – Score: 0.2
    • Sri Lankan women are praised for their natural beauty, representing a mix of ethnic groups such as Sinhala, Tamil, Moor, Malay, and Burgher.
  18. Pakistan – Score: 0.15
    • Pakistan is another country in Asia that is home to many beautiful women, who are often celebrated for their traditional and modern beauty practices.
  19. Myanmar – Score: 0.1
    • In Myanmar, natural beauty is highly valued, although some women opt for cosmetic procedures such as eyelid surgery.
  20. Laos – Score: 0.05
    • Rounding out the list, Laos is recognized for the natural beauty of its women, who tend to emphasize simplicity and elegance.
