The inclusion of Majapahit builds on the legacy of Indonesian representation in the Civilization series, following the introduction of Gajah Mada in Civilization V. The announcement has generated significant excitement, particularly among Indonesian gamers, who appreciate seeing their history and culture brought to life in a global gaming franchise.

Cross-Platform Gameplay and Editions

For Civilization VII, the series will be available across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Mac and Linux via Steam. The game also supports cross-play, allowing players on different platforms to connect and strategize together.

With the addition of Majapahit, Civilization VII not only expands its cultural repertoire but also deepens its commitment to celebrating human history and diversity.
