Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — A passenger on an AirAsia flight from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo, identified as Fridolina Lindung, tragically passed away after collapsing in the baggage claim area of Komodo Airport, Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Fridolina, 27, a resident of Balus Permai Village in Manggarai Timur, lost consciousness after her fall. She was immediately rushed to Siloam Hospital but was pronounced dead en route.

“She fell while waiting for her luggage. Her condition worsened, prompting us to refer her to Siloam Hospital. Unfortunately, she was declared dead upon arrival,” stated Bernadinus Darma, Head of the Labuan Bajo Quarantine Health Center (LKK), on Sunday.
