Jakarta, IndonesiaSentinel.com — The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), Anwar Sanusi, stated that job opportunities in Japan are wide open for Indonesian human resources (HR).

The Japan Association for Construction Human Resources (JAC) recently hosted the Japan Construction Industry Hands-on Workshop 2024 Summer, marking a significant event for skilled Indonesian workers.

Speaking at the event on Sunday (August 25, 2024), Anwar highlighted the demand for specialized skills across all sectors, particularly in construction.

Anwar emphasized that Japan is an ideal country for training local Indonesian talent to meet these industry demands.

“Japan is known for its meticulous, detail-oriented systems and strong work ethic. This means we must be well-prepared, ensuring our workers receive adequate training to succeed in their roles,” Anwar explained.

Additionally, he noted that Indonesian workers will be supported by the Tokutei Ginou, or SSW visa, which is designed for skilled workers.

Anwar also mentioned that the Japanese government is committed to assisting Indonesian HR in all matters related to the construction sector. “Before they left, there was a commitment to expand this event further, possibly adding more sectors or additional information relevant to the construction field.”
