Jakarta, IndonesiaSentinel.com — The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), Anwar Sanusi, stated that job opportunities in Japan are wide open for Indonesian human resources (HR).
The Japan Association for Construction Human Resources (JAC) recently hosted the Japan Construction Industry Hands-on Workshop 2024 Summer, marking a significant event for skilled Indonesian workers.
Speaking at the event on Sunday (August 25, 2024), Anwar highlighted the demand for specialized skills across all sectors, particularly in construction.
“This is a very promising event, showcasing our readiness to seize opportunities, especially in the Japanese labor market,” Anwar said. “Japan has opened up 16 sectors, all of which require specific skills, and one of the key areas we’re focusing on today is construction.”
Anwar emphasized that Japan is an ideal country for training local Indonesian talent to meet these industry demands.
“Japan is known for its meticulous, detail-oriented systems and strong work ethic. This means we must be well-prepared, ensuring our workers receive adequate training to succeed in their roles,” Anwar explained.
