Steps to Register for an NPWP on Coretax
To register for an NPWP online using the Coretax platform, follow these steps:
- Visit the Coretax Website
Access the Coretax registration portal via https://coretaxdjp.pajak.go.id. - Select “Pengguna Baru” (New User)
Click on the “Pengguna Baru” option to start the registration process. - Choose Your Tax Category
Select the appropriate category:- Individual (Perorangan)
- Government Agency (Instansi Pemerintah)
- Corporate Entity (Badan)
- Foreign Digital Tax Collector (Pemungut PPN PMSE Luar Negeri)
- Confirm NIK Ownership
- Click “Ya, Wajib Pajak Memiliki NIK” (Yes, Taxpayer Has a NIK).
- Choose “Aktivasi NIK” to register your National Identity Number (NIK) as your NPWP.
- Provide Accurate Personal Information
- Enter your personal details as requested.
- Verify via OTP
- Submit your phone number to receive a One-Time Password (OTP).
- Enter the OTP in the provided field to proceed.
- Add Optional Details
- Provide optional information under the “Pihak Terkait” (Related Party) section.
- Complete Economic Data
- Input details about your financial activities, such as bookkeeping and income sources.
- Input Address Information
- Provide your complete residential or business address.
- Verify Identity
- Upload a photo for identity verification against the population database (Dukcapil).
- Review and Submit
- Double-check all the entered information.
- Agree to the terms by ticking the confirmation box.
- Click “Kirim Pengajuan” (Submit Application).
Transition from e-Registration
As of 2025, the previous tax platform, ereg.pajak.go.id, has been retired. All online tax processes, including NPWP registration, are now handled exclusively through Coretax.
