Jakarta, Indonesia Sentinel — Top YouTube content creator MrBeast, has emerged as one of the high-profile investors join the bid to buy TikTok, as the platform faces a critical 75-day deadline to secure a non-Chinese owner or risk a permanent ban in the United States.
The YouTube star, who boasts a staggering 346 million followers and was named the world’s highest-earning internet creator in 2023 by Forbes with an $85 million income, has openly expressed his interest in purchasing the app.
The push to acquire TikTok follows a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold federal legislation requiring the platform to sell to a non-China-based entity. TikTok briefly went offline over the weekend, but Trump executive order delayed the ban, granting the platform a 75-day reprieve.

Recently he reiterated his intentions in a TikTok video, stating, “I just got out of a meeting with a bunch of billionaires. TikTok, we mean business. This is my lawyer right here, we have an offer ready for you, we want to buy the platform.”
Bid for the App
According to a report by Bloomberg, MrBeast has teamed up with a consortium led by Jesse Tinsley, CEO of Employer.com, and other institutional investors in a bid to buy TikTok. The group plans to save TikTok by submit an all-cash bid for the app.
While the exact value of the offer remains undisclosed, the group claims their proposal would ensure TikTok’s continuity without disrupting operations.
Despite the bid, it remains unclear whether ByteDance, TikTok’s Beijing-based parent company, is seriously considering the offer. Other potential buyers reportedly include Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Amazon, Oracle, and a consortium led by billionaire Frank McCourt.
