According to the report, the top-spending candidate pair is Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, who contributed Rp 1 billion to their campaign. Pramono Anung and Rano Karno followed with Rp 100 million, while the independent candidates Dharma Pongrekun and Kun Wardana spent Rp 5 million.
The report, signed by Wahyu Dinata, the Chairman of KPU Jakarta, provides detailed financial disclosures for each candidate. Wahyu shared that the submissions of the LADK were made at different times on September 24, 2024.
- RIDO (Ridwan Kamil-Suswono) submitted their report at 5:30 PM.
- The independent candidates, Dharma-Kun, submitted theirs earlier at 3:10 PM.
- Pramono-Rano, supported by PDIP and Hanura, filed their report at 11:45 PM.
Campaign Finance Sources
Wahyu further broke down the campaign finance sources:
- RIDO’s funding consists of two sources: Rp 400 million from their personal funds and Rp 600 million from 15 supporting political parties.
- The independent pair, Dharma-Kun, relied solely on their own Rp 5 million contribution.
- Meanwhile, Pramono-Rano also self-funded their campaign with Rp 100 million from personal savings.
“All contributions are in the form of cash,” Wahyu confirmed.
Peaceful Campaign Declaration for Jakarta Elections
In a separate event, the three gubernatorial candidate pairs participated in a peaceful campaign declaration held in Kota Tua, Jakarta, on September 24, 2024. Led by Wahyu Dinata, the peaceful campaign declaration included the commitment of each candidate and their supporters to maintain integrity during the election process.
The declaration included three key promises:
- Ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections.
- Conducting a peaceful and orderly campaign without the use of hoaxes, money politics, or identity politics.
- Complying with all applicable electoral laws and regulations.
Each candidate pair signed a ceremonial plaque, joined by representatives from supporting political parties and election watchdogs, including Bawaslu Jakarta.
