Jakarta. The Police together with Bali Immigration officers arrested a Canadian Interpol fugitive named Stephane Gagnon (50) on Friday (19/5/23).
The joint forces arrested Stephane Gagnon at Aman Villa, Canggu Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.
“He is wanted by the Canadian government for allegedly committing fraud and forgery in Canada,” said Head of Bali Police Public Relations, Kombes Pol. Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto, as quoted by PMJ News, Saturday (20/5/23) evening.
Stephane’s arrest followed the issuance of a red notice control with number: A-6452/8-2022, dated August 5, 2022 regarding information on the search for Interpol fugitives from Canada. Then followed up by the Police.
Then on Friday (19/5/23) Bali immigration officers arrested Stephane who works as a businessman in his country at the villa where he lives and the evidence secured is his passport. (sy/pr/um/TribrataNews)
